As you all know, our BNI Joplin community was hit hard by the recent tornado. In an effort to show support and help out the area, two members of BNI in Springfield came up with an idea. Robert Devore (BNI S.M.A.R.T.- Springfield) and B.J. Richardson (BNI Springfield Business Connection) have put together a Joplin Tornado Benefit casino night on Friday, July 1st, 2011. The proceeds will go to Convoy of Hope, Rotary Foundation, and the BNI Misner Foundation, with 100% of the proceeds going right to Joplin. Why not come out and network with us and support the cause?
Members and Chapters: We would love for your chapter (or yourself) to donate a gift basket of $50.00 or more...there will be a silent auction to raise even more money for the cause. Thanks Mike. Cannot wait to see all of BNI there to help support Joplin. I know we are not usually into non-for profit but as Mike well put, extreme circumstances sometimes call for change and this event is for a GREAT cause. Thanks to all so far that have donated their time, money, labor, and self to helping our neighbors in this great time of need. Even if you are not from Joplin, these people are still our friends, clients, family members, and colleagues. Thanks again for your support!
