Over (100) BNI members attend MSP in SW Missouri the first week of May!


Every month, BNI members across the state have an opportunity to "Learn more to earn more" through and incredible program called the Member Success Program.  Last Thursday was an incredible day of learning in SW Missouri/SE Kansas.  Between the two MSP trainings that day in both Joplin, MO. and Springfield, MO., we had over (100) members in Attendance, led by BNI Assistant Directors Julie Mercer and Larry Blaha, as well as Director Mike Tobin in Joplin.

The three most common questions we get from New BNI members are:

1) “Where do I start?” To that I would say, Start here, start now. Author Ray Bradbury suggested that "An Eagle has to jump off cliffs to build their wings”, this program will help you build your BNI wings without jumping off any cliffs! However, “It’s not Net-Sit, It’s not Net-Eat, It’s Net-Work, Ivan Misner”

2) “How long will it take to get a return on my investment?” To that I would say, It depends on how long it takes for you to master the “4” BNI Key Success Factors (KSFs). Building relationships takes time, and BNI will always be more about farming than hunting. As a matter of fact, we commonly see members do as much as 60 times more business in their second year than in their first year of membership.

3) “What exactly have I gotten myself into?” To that I would say, You have discovered a proven and effective way to turn contacts into contracts; to apply the Givers Gain philosophy in a way that makes money for you and others around you; to position yourself as a connector of people and a business resource for your fellow members, clients, and contacts. And you are not here by accident.

From Renewing members, they often ask, Why should I repeat a basic course in BNI and attend MSP again?

1) “Repetition is the mother of skill.” Until all members are meeting the Monthly 8 KSF’s we have room for improvement. One BNI member shared, “I attended 11 MSP Trainings in my first year of membership and learned something new every time I attended and the more knowledgeable I became the more my perspective of what I knew changed.”

This MSP program is all about helping you learn how the four Key Success Factors help members build strong and trusting relationships using the BNI system. Just as it takes time to build strong relationships, it takes time to master these skills. But the members who grow and consistently apply these behaviors achieve greater and faster results than those who simply go through the motions.
By the time you leave MSP training, you will have a much better idea how the information BNI provides relates specifically to your business.
